But anyway, ayun nga po, I am half Ilongga and half, not half, a full Batangueña.

May ganon ganon, portion portion…

Anyways, you can call me Line or Boses Filipina, that’s my pen name… or Linya, bahala na po kayo.

Hopefully may maitulong ako sa inyo.

The Question of English Proficiency in Voice Acting

So my question for today is, “can I be a voice talent even if I’m not good in English?”

Oo nga no? Andun na yung thought na gusto mong mag voice artist, gusto mo maging voice talent.

Pero may problema.

So, pwede nga ba? Okay lang ba yun na may accent ako? Pwede nga ba?

Sagutin natin yan. Okay?

Okay?

Answering the Question

Bakit ho?

Because the Filipino language is being rampant worldwide. O, sosyal!

Sa totoo lang ho, there’s so many, I mean countless, V.O. opportunities out there.

So pwedeng-pwede naman syempre, and mas advantage niyo pa nga if you can do Cebuano, Hiligaynon, ano pa ba?

Madami.

So pwede naman! Wala na mang masama don.

Maintaining and Improving Your Skill

Take note na mas malaki ang advantage if you know how to deliver lines using American or native accents or other foreign accents.

Final Thoughts

And I believe po, ano man ang lengguwahe o dayalekto mo, basta may boses ka, pwedeng-pwede po.

Kaya don’t give up on this, baby!

So all you need to do is, you have to work on your craft, practice with all your devotion, and um, practice consistently ulit-ulit, and get an expert coach.

Yes, specially kung nagsisimula ka pa lang.

Trust me, you really need someone who will guide you in your V.O. journey.

So I think that would be all, yun lamang po ang aking maibabahagi.

Introduction

Hello to all of you, I am Loveline.

I’m a Filipino voice artist based in Negros, but originally I am a Batangueña, from Batangas.

So anyway, I am half Ilongga and half, not half, a full Batangueña.

You can call me Line or Boses Filipina, that’s my pen name… or Linya, it’s up to you.

Why You’re Here

So I know you’re here because you want to learn more about voice acting.

Or maybe you’re just curious about this job and you want to pursue it in the future, or perhaps you’re a professional who just wants to enhance your voice acting skills.

Hopefully, I can assist you.

The Question of English Proficiency in Voice Acting

So my question for today is, “Can I be a voice talent even if I’m not good in English?”

Right?

There’s the thought of wanting to be a voice artist, wanting to become a voice talent.

But there’s a problem.

The problem is: you’re not good at English!

That’s one of the real problems of many voice talents today.

So, is it possible? Is it okay to have an accent? Is it possible?

Let’s answer that. You know, I also asked myself that. You’re not alone. Okay?

Let’s get to the answer.

Answering the Question

The correct answer to that is yes!

Yes, we can be a voice talent even if we’re not proficient in English.

Why? Because the Filipino language is spreading rampantly worldwide. Saucy, right?

Because there are clients who are looking for native Filipino talents.

There are a lot of them, it’s really not going anywhere.

Honestly, there’s so many, I mean countless, V.O. opportunities out there.

It’s not only in the Philippines, where they’re looking for a Filipino accent, but also worldwide.

Maintaining and Improving Your Skill

There’s nothing wrong with that, even if you’re not good at English.

What’s bad is if you’re not improving yourself.

If you’re not practicing, or if you’re not giving yourself a chance to grow.

So, we have answered that you can be a voice talent even if you don’t know English.

Now, remember this.

Take note that you’ll have a bigger advantage if you know how to deliver lines using American or native accents or other foreign accents.

You’ll have a greater chance of passing auditions and getting clients.

Final Thoughts

And I believe, whatever language or dialect you speak, as long as you have a voice, you can do it.

So don’t give up on this, baby!

All you need to do is, you have to work on your craft, practice with all your devotion, and practice consistently.

And get an expert coach.

Yes, especially if you’re just starting out.

Trust me, you really need someone who will guide you in your V.O. journey.

So I think that would be all, that’s all I can share.
